Delaying gratification - the Marshmallow test

Here is what the test looks like:

Remember they did this in a more scientific setting and followed the children who were able to wait before eating the marshmallow and followed the children who could NOT wait.   The children who waited did better academically than those who could not wait and ate it right away.

There is real life value in being able to postpone gratification
